Can you put mascara on eyelash extensions?

I'm thinking about getting them done.. But i've seen them.. and although they're thick.. I like volume as well..

Will mascara make them fall out?

thanks !Can you put mascara on eyelash extensions?
They sell special types of mascara for the extensions, and it runs around $30... I would recommend using clump fake lashes with some Diorshow to improve your look. Eyelash extensions are not only expensive, but they start to fall out and look really patchy and clumpy within a week or two....I wear clump lashes all the time, they look a lot more natural and you can take them off along with the rest of your makeup at night...Can you put mascara on eyelash extensions?
I've had eyelash extensions in the past and I don't recommend you putting on mascara because your eyelash extensions will fall out faster and easier.
isnt that kinda over doing it?
yes,but delicately.
There should be enough eyelash extensions to fill up the volume for you not to need mascara but if you really want to put mascara on them use a water-based solution just on the tips or something called ';Volume Up'; mascara for semi-permenant lashes and not the water-proof kind. Brushing with an old mascara wand could pull on the lashes and the conditioning agents and waxes that are in mascaras can eventually cause the glues to disolve. Thus losing your semi-permenant lashes faster. Eyelash extensions when done right look so natural and beautiful on, remember to ask your Lash Artist to show you the lashes before hand to determine thickness, lengths and color.
maybe the mascara will pull them out or make them more clumpy
Well the purpose for eyelash extensions is to make your lashes longer. If your lashes are too thin there are different sizes of thickness or whatever you prefer. If your lashes are too thin return them (If you decide to get them) and buy some thicker ones with more volume. They are your lashes that you spent money on you should be satisfied. You can put mascara on them but just oh so gently. The brush should have thin bristles if its clumpy it will most likely pull the lash and take it off.
You can use mascara on them.... but you shouldn't. That's kind of the point of getting the extensions. If you do, be careful, because when you remove the mascara, you may pull them out. Make sure to press the cotton pad lightly and don't rub.
