I've heard of eyelash extensions which stay on during showers swimmng etc. Anyone know about this?

I once read in a magazine (I've forgotten which one) that eyelash extensions are done. An extension is glued using surgical glue to the natural eyelash. The article said the lash stays on the life of the natural lash. I believe the procedure was being done in Central America. I have very short lashes and would be interested in having this done if it were available in the U.S.. Has anyone had this done?I've heard of eyelash extensions which stay on during showers swimmng etc. Anyone know about this?

As far as cost... i would go with the fake glue on eyelashes. Cuz you say that it stays on as long as a natural lash...well natural lashes fall out all the time, idk, i just don't think it seems like a practical choice. If you are unhappy about something as tiny as your eyelashes, then you are going to have troubles in life! Joking! You should just try some lengthening mascara!
I have heard about this and actually know a person in Los Angeles, CA who does it. The lady who does this for other people is Asian and she herself had small eyelashes, but now her eyelashes are long and beautiful. I am not sure whether you can call this a surgical procedure, but she does this without the supervision of a doctor. Also, the extension stays on for only 6 months, not indefinitely.
go to a salon or spa. they can apply lashes with a ';permenant'; adhesive. it also only lasts the life of the actual lashes which is really only about 3 weeks.
At Sally Beauty Supply they have eyelash extensions that last up to a week even when taking a shower, etc.
I ran a search for you just now and I found this website and it seems it is a UK based company. these eyelashes only last around 3 months. Check the source website.

Cheers,
