I really want eyelash extensions, but i dont really know alot about them.will they ruin my eyelashes?plz help!

The eyelash extensions are a waste of money. My friend spent $100 on them for her wedding and she would have been better off with a $5 set of false eyelashes!I really want eyelash extensions, but i dont really know alot about them.will they ruin my eyelashes?plz help!
just use an eyelash curler and mascara...crap like that DOES mess up your eyes and its a waste cuz it looks fake...
