LADIES - Any one have experience of ';eyelash extension';?

I know its available in beauty salons but I've just noticed on ebay that you can buy lashes by the pot for home use. Does anyone on Answers apply these themselves - is it difficult or easy. I can't afford the salon prices and would like to try at home (UK based)LADIES - Any one have experience of ';eyelash extension';?
No sorry, but if you put vaseline on your eyelashes at night and sleep with it it is supposed to make your eyelashes grow faster. HOpe I helped!!LADIES - Any one have experience of ';eyelash extension';?
it is possible too do them at home but it totally depends on whether you are good at it or not!

I am a trained Beauty Therapist and so know how to apply the lashes properly but find it difficult to do them for myslef.

I would recommend buying some and getting a friend to help you out. Obviously it may not work out but I would give it a try.

You just need to pour some of the glue onto a little dish/surface and then take each lash individually and pick them up using tweezers.

Dip the very end of the lash into the glue and apply to the lash line, making sure the lash is pointing upwards, not downwards!

Apply the lash above the natural lashes, not below.

Once you have applied as many lashes as you feel neccessary, (some people just like a few on the outer edge of the eye), trim them a little if they are a ridiculous length but be careful not to cut your own lashes!

Have a go and I hope it works out ok!
sorry i just use the extending lash mascaras
I use to get them done at a beauty salon for special occasions, but decided to save my money and try one of these at home kits.... found it very fiddly and only used it once....

So I've gone back to the beauty salon to get it applied, yes more money, but they are the professionals!
well if you wan to look beautiful...... pls visit the beauty salon..

guess u need to get more information on eyelash extension ... heard from my fren that its not very good for your eyelash
ok honestly, my friend went as malcolm frm a clockwork orange for halloween and she had to use fake eyelashes on top and bottom to get the look

her sister works as a beautician..and so we bought the eyelashes from boots...

her sis put thm on and they didnt stick right..

so she used professional glue to get them on properly.

i wouldnt advise this if you dnt want them for long term.

if u do get them professional..make sure the beautician will provide you with acetone or a cleansing solution to get them off.

otherwise u will have nightmares and they pull ur eye lashes out if ur not careful.

try getting the single lash ones tho.. like each lash for each of ur eyelashes.

they tend to have the best effect x
I have put them on myself and other people ....its fairly easy.

It just takes time...You can buy the single lashs at most beauty supply stores. The thing is to get a good adhisive.

They last about a week or more if done properly.

Good luck!
i would personally try some of the extra long masacras ... but if you want to put fake eyelashes on, i find it pretty hard. you have to get it PERFECT and sometimes they fall off if you dont put them on rite, which is embarassingg ...
I think makeup and anything that will make you look different to who you REALLY are is fascile and stupid. But go ahead, look like a dumb model if you like! SPEND YOU'RE HARD EARNED MONEY ON TEXTBOOKS! THEY'RE MORE LIKLEY TO GET YOU A DECENT JOB!
i use these all the time to tell you the truth they take a lot of time and patience to apply them one by one, first time i tried i glued about 5 to the same lash, once you master it tho ull be flying..... maybe an idea to have a friend on hand for a little help. u can buy these eyelashes in sum bigger chemist shops for about £5. good luck! x p.s they look stunning.
extensions are cool, and they are a bit tricky to use at first but once you get the hang of them they can almost pass of as real lashes! Also you can buy them from many UK leading stores like Boots and Superdrugs and they have instructions which help you.
carefully put vaseline on your eyelashes.. supposedly its suppose to make them longer..
Try the eyelash dye kits from boots etc. Really good, easy to use and lasts 3-4 wks then you just dye them again.
yes i have used them and the are so tricky, if you have long nails then its even more so!

with these i find that not always practice makes perfect!

  • Will eyelash adhesive hold in a hair extension?

My friend glued an extension in with hair glue, and it washed out the next day when I washed my hair, just like she said it would.

I want to put it back in, but all I have is eyelash adhesive. Would that hold it in? I don't think it'd do any harm since it's okay to put it on your eyelid..

Anyone knoww? Will eyelash adhesive hold in a hair extension?
It wont work. The extension weighs more than that type of glue is designed to hold. Will eyelash adhesive hold in a hair extension?
nope, that adhesive will not take and it will definately wash out.

you must get extention glue... it's specifically made for the weight, texture and capacity.

    and should last several washings.
You can go to sally beauty supply, and get a glue called proclaim superbond. Its really good and it comes in light and dark colors, and its less then $3 a bottle. around $1.89 i think. Its also very simple to use
no it isn't strong enough it would flop right off again

Guys, What do you think of girls who wear fake eyelashes, eye colour contacts and hair extensions?

I'm curious to know what guys' views are on these type of things that we girls use.

What would you think if you saw an attractive girl and then noticed that she had colour contacts and fake eyelashes and hair extensions? Would your opinion of how attractive she is change?

    Thanks in advance!

Eh, too much of all this makes me think something deeper is being hidden. I understand and appreciate the desire to look good, but in the end, I find that I'm drawn to girls who exude confidence and positivity regardless of appearance. No one wants to have a fake package. If it is too fake it looks unappealing and unattractive
    i wouldn't care.

if its worn in good taste, why not?

gorgeous women can wear these things and continue to look gorgeous. average women will continue to look average. most guys can see past that, maybe you'll fool a 16 year old but thats about it.

if wear them with the right outfit and for the right occasion, they can be great. otherwise you'll look like you'retrying too hard.

make up: too much is gross, i dont care how hot you are. it looks aweful and tastes nasty. i never went out with anyone with extensions. i wouldn't know. i kinda like playing with a woman's hair, so -- hair extensions are out b/c i'd probably destroy them

color contacts, same category as hair dye -- except you can take them out and put them back in without going to the salon. lashes isnt something i notice unless there's something really akward about them. eyebrows, if you got no skill at moulding them, just leave them in.

definate no to plastic surgery. reconstuctive after an accident is different -- its medical. its still the same look.

Do eyelashes grow back after prolonged lash extensions?

My mom had her eye lash extensions for two years and when she took them off, 50% of her natural eye lashes were left. Will her lashes grow back to original quantity and length? if so, for how long? please give sources and remedies if you know some.Do eyelashes grow back after prolonged lash extensions?
Yes they will grow back. The reason I know this is because when my cousin was young, she plucked out every one of her eyelashes, just like people pluck their eyebrows. She figured they would grow in longer and thicker. I don't know if they grew in thicker but they did grow back.Do eyelashes grow back after prolonged lash extensions?

How do I get longer eyelashes without extensions or false lashes?

I learned about this product off of a Celeb. makeup site. Instead of using false lashes they suggested using, Fast Lash by Tweezerman. It is tiny fibers that stick to your lashes, and make them sooo long. I have bought it, and I love it. I also use Cover Girl Lash Blash Waterproof Mascara with the Fast Lash.

    Just put on one coat of mascara. Then LIGHTLY apply the fibers. Comb through the fibers with an eyelash comb. Apply another coat of mascara. And comb again if you need to. Be careful cause you can easily get what I call ';spider legs.';

Oh, if you usually use an eyelash curler. Do that before you apply any of the other products.

http://www.tweezerman.com/index.cfm?page鈥?/a>How do I get longer eyelashes without extensions or false lashes?
You could try curling them. There are many places (huge pharmacies a la Wallgreens and CVS) will sell you these little tools that look like huge scissors, but that have a special tip that will shape your eyelashes and make them pop.

Also, thick black mascara also works, if you want bolder, more noticeable eyelashes (though not /longer/ per s茅.)

Sadly, unlike the hair in your head, those tiny little hairs that form our eyelashes /don't/ grow; so I would advise against any special mascara or cream or whatever that might claim to ';stimulate growth.'; All your options, sadly, are limited to creating an /ilusion/ of longer/bolder eyelashes, not actually make them grow. :(How do I get longer eyelashes without extensions or false lashes?
here's a simple quick way to elongate and plump up your lashes. first, apply one coat of mascara. quickly dust lashes with powder while mascara is still wet. the particles of the powder will stick to the lashes. then apply several more coats of mascara. lastly, if you want to use a lash curler to ultimately heighten your lashes.
Rub them nightly with a dab of castor oil. It will condition your lashes and reduce breakage which will result in longer, thicker lashes. For daytime, get a good mascara with fibers.
about 5 months ago I tried extensions for fun but I noticed that they start to fall off with my own lashes. I wasn't happy after paying $$ for them to last only couple weeks. So searching around I found this serum that you can apply to the eyeliner area and believe it or not it works! I was soooo skeptical but it does work. I got it from hmmm.....www.longerlashesnaturally.com

    good luck!
    Hi lesson learned,

Really me too,i too had extensions and boy do i regret it !! Never again,no one told me that my lashes will fall out with the extensions sob sob!! I just went to the website you suggested and I think since they extend a 1 year money back guarantee why not? Thanks :-)
mascara is a good way. try an eyelash curler then apply the mascara to set it in place. another way is to extend your eyeliner past your eye with a slight curve upwards. it will add the look of longer lashes.
Try Neutrogena healthy volume mascara its new supposedly it has ingredients in it to help your lashes grow
Use a really good mascara. Some of them have vitamins and stuff, that make your lashes grow.
    have u tried eyelash curlers?

they work well and make ur lashes seem longer than they really are.

    and maybe some lengthening mascara??

please help i dont want to mess up my eyes by the way i bought mac ones so they should be safeCan eyelash extension stay on for more than one day or can i just keep on putting on the same lash?
you're talking about false lashes. mac doesn't make ';lash extensions';. you have to get those at a salon and they glue individual lashes to your existing lashes in order to make them look longer and more full. the extensions will usually last 3-4 weeks, as existing lashes fall off along with the extensions and new lashes grow out. ';lash extensions'; will run you about $125-250 a pop, depending on where you get them done.

the fake lashes like the ones from mac, you can glue them on yourself. you should remove them before you go to sleep. they can be cleaned and reused several times depending on how you maintain and care for them. Can eyelash extension stay on for more than one day or can i just keep on putting on the same lash?
You can actual get real eyelash extensions...they're a bit spendy, but worth it! Look for a salon in your area that does this, and get some estimates. My friend got them done, and I was totally jealous. They looked gorgeous!
I wouldn't wear them over night but you can definately re-use the lashes a few times.

I think growth products are better.Though I'd use natural, safe methods, if I were you. You wouldn't want any harmful chemicals in your eye.Eyelash growth products or extensions?
You could add individual eyelashes. They look really natural. I curl them then add a little bit of Vaseline. It makes them look darker and longer. Just don;t put a lot bc your eyes will look greasy.

I'm asian so i was born with very skimpy eyelashes and my mascara just doesn't work, otherwise it will get unpleasantly chunky.

I want to find the best place to get eyelash extensions, but I read about it, and I'm scared to go to a place where they'll scar my eyes forever or they'll fumble and let me lose my ability to regrow my natural eyelashes. :(

Also, I don't want to end up in a place where I'd have to visit and pay repeatedly if the eyelashes were to fall off so easily..

How do I know where to go for the safest eyelash extensions?

I've talked to a few people that said some eyelashes are natural versus some that end up feeling like cat whiskers. Also some glue is ok while some makes your eyes burn or itch. How do I know what questions to ask before deciding on where to get them? Ive seen places that charge $150 and places that charge $20. the cheaper the better as long as I'm not getting lower quality. Obviously the price will end up being somewhere in between but any help would be appreciated thanks! How do I know where to go for the safest eyelash extensions?
I would actually go to the places that charge higher. My mom got them done at a salon where they charged her $160 dollars. They did a really good job and the people were friendly/professional. $20 seems a little too good to be true for me, and they might use cheap tools/glue to do it. But if you're still unsure, visit some places or give them a call %26amp; ask about the quality. Good luck :)How do I know where to go for the safest eyelash extensions?

Nail polish in my eyes after eyelash extensions...?

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem...last summer I had eyelash extensions applied and the tech got what smelled like nail polish remover (which I later found out actually was nail polish remover!) in my eyes. It obviously stung and she really had issues applying the lashes to my left eye in particular. It's not until now that I'm making a connection between that experience and the problems I've been having with my eyes. I've been to the opthamologist for the last few months with an excruciating pain in my eyes, usually at night when I'm sleeping, it will wake me up and it feels like someone has ripped my eye open and it will sting and water profusely. The dr asked if I had an eye injury which I hadn't and couldn't explain why I have what looks like corneal erosion mostly concentrated in my left eye. After talking to a few estheticians, I'm finding out that indeed the nail polish remover would have caused the erosion of my eye. Unfortunately, the only solution is laser eye surgery which I am not eligible for because my vision is fine, if I were to have the surgery it would actually impair my vision!Nail polish in my eyes after eyelash extensions...?

Can you tell me more about eyelash extensions? How does it work?

It works with eyelash glue and careful placement. You can get entire strips of eyelashes to to either lengthen or make your natural lashes appear fuller. Or you can get single ones that you intersperse among your natural lashes. The single ones usually look more real - but false lashes have come a long way, and if you've got a steady hand, are easy on the glue and careful how you place them, a strip of eyelashes looks real and natural too.

They also now make two-step mascaras - the first step is white and has nylon - I think - fibers in it, you brush this on, and then step two is the black/brown mascara. L'Oreal Volume Shocking is the best of this type of product available now!Can you tell me more about eyelash extensions? How does it work?
Eyelash extensions generally work the same as most hair extensions products. Individual eyelash extenders are applied to the natural lashes using a bonding agent 鈥?specifically mild for use around the eyes. They generally last up to two months.

Eyelash extensions are designed to add both length and fullness to the natural lashes and can make the eyes appear larger and more defined.

The greatest trait of eyelash extensions is that they can be used to create specific looks in the eyes, because they can be used to enhance specific areas of the lashes. They can help to fill-in sparse areas, enhance the overall length and fullness, or be used create specific effects.

A full set of lash extensions can cost as much as $350 for the initial application procedure, with re-touch visits recommended every 2-3 weeks, which can cost anywhere from $10-100 or more, depending on what needs to be done as maintenanceEyelash extensions generally work the same as most hair extensions products. I tried it before, all what you have to do is buy a pair from any beauty collections or salon, it comes with special glue that you put on the extention and than you put it on tap of your own eyelashes, it is very easy, follow directions on the box. If you don't have it in Singapore tell me I will buy one from united stated and mail it to you. I do sell Lialywax if you like to visit my site. I recently got eyelash extensions, I woke up with swollen eyes?! ?

I went to Cesar's Day Spa for the day, decided I wanted eyelash extensions for my birthday. I naturally have long full lashes and wanted a little something extra for my special day and would keep them on for a few days. She charged $80 dollars for the few I wanted, I was fine afterwards.

She said it was professional lashes from Korea, she said she was using a mild glue that could be used to keep the lashes in for a week, since I said I didn't want to keep them in long.

Another strange thing....is it normal to use plastic-wrap under my eye with Vaseline to protect my lower-lid? I thought that was odd.

Since I don't wear mascara or put on fake lashes, she said my eyes would take time to get adjusted to the lashes and I would be fine, also the itching would go too. Later my eyes began to itch and I put a cool cloth on my eyes to soothe it, then went to bed early. I woke up this morning and my eyes are SWOLLEN?! The left one is more bumpy. I called and I will have it removed? Are they going to make me pay, what's wrong with my eyes? will I loose lashes? I recently got eyelash extensions, I woke up with swollen eyes?! ?
dont wear them if it swollens ur eyes i really dont know the problem, but take them off now before it gets worser or u might be allergic or somethingI recently got eyelash extensions, I woke up with swollen eyes?! ?
you should not worry about losing your lashes, but losing your sight.
Your probably allergic to the glue.
It sounds like an allergy to the glue. If you have any sort of latex allergy, false lashes are out for you.

As to the plastic wrap, kind of weird. I usually use a paper protector and other people use a gel protector that hold the lashes down. Plastic wrap and Vaseline is kind of cheap.

I don't know if they will make you pay.

If it's permanent lash glue you probably will lose some lashes.
allergic reaction to the chemicals in the glue. they wont make you pay to take them out. however, they do not hav2 give ur money back because of ur reaction. taking them out will be uncomfortable, they will be using another chemical. it would be easier 4 u 2 take an allergy medicine %26amp; put oil on ur eyelashes, pull them out slowly, be patient, u will loose sum.
Probably you had an allergic reaction to the glue. It's not uncommon, and it was wise for you to have them take them off. As for the money, I think it would be an idea to try to get reimbursed because $80 for something that gave you problems should be refunded (I'd check their policy or guarantee)
ur probably allergic to the things...
It seems very much like you have a allergy to the glue, depend on very different brand false lashes, they come with different glue.in your case quite much like the experience i had probably you are allergic to the glue which use to attached false lashes to your own.

it's easy to find out,use the same glue she used for you lashes extension, apply on you arm (the side close to your body) about 1center meter square, within 24 hours if you develop any sign of allergy, you can discuss/sue them to get your money back.(the point is you must use the same tube of glue she used on you)

    good luck
that is what you get for being greedy. you already said that you have long lashes to begin with....why would you want to do that to yourself if there really is no need? you are probably allergic to the glue that they used to make the lashes stay put. Let this be a lesson to you.
Are you the same person who asked this question awhile back? Get them removed as they are irritating your eyes. And you won't get your money back. What the hell are professional lashes from Korea? Monkey fur?

    Geeze.........
Definite allergic reaction. The glue most likely contains latex which you could be having a reaction too.
Doubt if you'll lose your natural lashes. Just seems as thought you are allergic to something they used. It's only fair for them not to charge you for removing them. I'd ask for my money back (Not sure they'll give you the refund but it's worth a try).LOL!
I don't care where you went or how much it cost, if you use the wrong kind of glue or your hands are not clean, bacteria can enter your eye. You have to be careful. you probably will lose some real lashes, in the process of taking those out, and just hope that there isn't any bacterial infection. My friend had some put in a few months ago for a wedding, the girl charged her $80 same as you, but about an hour into the ceremony, her eyes started itching. So, she went to the bathroom and started picking and pulling at these lashes and they started falling off along with her real lashes and some flaky crap. She finally got them off, washed her face reapplied her make up and got back to the wedding; the next morning she couldn't even open her eyes. She looked like a puffer fish! Anyway, what I was trying to tell you is that even it looks nice to have longer lashes, if they are not really cautious about how and what they do, you eyes can and will become infected.
Why would you do that in the first place??? If you have to have them taken off...OUCH
sounds like an infection or allergic reaction of some sort... Yikes they do that stuff?

    Um.. eyelash extensions?

okay. so i have really straight eyelashes. they have almost no curl at all. %26amp; i would really like for them to curl up. i curl them w/ an eyelash curler every morning %26amp; it pulls out lots of my eyelashes %26amp; i hate it. i would just like my eyelashes to look more full, long, %26amp; curly. so i'm consider eyelash extensions. the ones were they glue them eyelash by eyelash onto your original eyelashes. so i just want some feedback on anyone who has had them. do they look real, natural? are they worth the money? etc. please %26amp; thank youuuu :)Um.. eyelash extensions?
i guess they look natural cuz one time i went to a salon and they asked how much i paid for my eyelash extensions =( but i dont even have any im only 14 but its cuz my lashes are long n curled naturally

i dont think its worth it, just get your lashes permed and put on some mascara that adds more thickness and volume, some brushes even add more curl to themUm.. eyelash extensions?
its a waste of money in a way..

    Help!!!!...Eyelash EXTENSIONS???

    Hello,

Will eyelash extensions last at least a month? I already have long lashes but need them to be extra long for about 3 weeks. Help!!!!...Eyelash EXTENSIONS???
Only the permanent kind that are professionally applied. But it all depends on how often your body sheds your eyelashes. It's rare that they will last longer then 2-3 weeks.Help!!!!...Eyelash EXTENSIONS???
There are eyelashes that you can put them yourself, these definitely won't long 3 weeks usually they long only a day, but if you tried at beauty salons they use a special glue to put them, maybe they'll long more time, perhaps a week, but you have to change it before that. So you can only will put three times eyelash extensions approximately. Good luck! Eyelashes rules!!!!! a woman that use them her face look great ;)
Sorry hun, they won't. But, you will probably have to re apply them every week or so. Take care of them, and buy extras. If the extensions don't work, just curl your natural lashes and use lots of mascara! Good luck, and stay beautiful!
Yeah eyelash extensions will last for about a month to two months.
probobly not, you'd have to keep re-applying them over again.

  • Eyelash extensions for asian eyes?

I have asian eyes (with the monolid) and very show stubby lashes that point downwards if i don't use mascara. I went to a chinese spa and even though they said they can do eyelash extensions on my lashes, they made it so horrible looking, very thick and clumpy glue and very fake looking extensions that point in all different directions. i was so mad i made them remove it all on the spot.

my question is, can i really get extensions done and just need to find a better place, or should i just give up cuz it'd be impossible for my lashes?Eyelash extensions for asian eyes?

Eyelash EXTENSIONS in south east london? Anyone know any salon's?

=[ I have been searching HIGH and LOW to find a beauty salon that does eyelash extensions in south london somewhere. I live in the Dulwich area, i don't mind travelling a little, so other area's like Lewisham, Sydenham, etc would be ok in terms of distance. I am going out tommorow and want to look my best. Had a MAJOR dissapointment 2day, i booked an appointment and was kept waiting A FULL HOUR, then to my sheer horror discovered they only did FALSE eyelash's as oppose to eyelash extensions which last up to 8weeks. Can anyone PLEASE recommend me somewhere, i am so desperate; has to be a beauty salon though, as i have had bad experiences going to peoples homes for beauty treatments. Doubt i will get an answer but will be soooo grateful and i give you 10 points =] xEyelash EXTENSIONS in south east london? Anyone know any salon's?
Hiya I live in east london and theres a salon in essex called the beauty clinic that does the eyelash extensions that last up to three months...

I just called around the yellow pages for local salons and they seemed to help me alot and if they didnt do it they advised where other salons did. Remember to ask fully what you need as otherwise they may just put on the full lashes again.

    GOOD LUCK.

Where can you get eyelash extension?

It costs 600-1200 dollars for eyelash extensions. You can get them at higher end salons. Look for salons in the bigger malls in your area. BUT there are products that, for A LOT cheaper, can lengthen and thicken your lashes. Or try false lashes that look natural.Where can you get eyelash extension?
uum anywhere...wal-mart,target,sallys beauty salon...pretty much anywhere

Is the glue in eyelash extension harmful to my eyes?

I washed my face after 12 hours of the application and I feel a tingling feeling in my eyes. Is it the glue coming off? if so is it harmful to my eyes or is it just that my eye hates foreign objects?

it does go away after I've towel dry the lashes. also it happened again today when i shower.

maybe i've got sensitive eyes? cuz sometimes when i put on new contact lenses, the tingly sensation also arises and disappear after a few minutes.

can you help?Is the glue in eyelash extension harmful to my eyes?
Glue for eyelash extension are supposed to be MILD %26amp; EYE-FRIENDLY.

You should check 1st the expiration date, that could be a big factor. also the directions.

I assume that u are using extensions for special occasions, right? I advice that you use MASCARA - there are mascaras that really put volume to yuor eyelashes! no need for extensions.

Since you're really experiencing eye irritations, try to go to your eye DOCTOR....it's better to be cautious than sorry. There are cases that contacts could cause BLINDNESS.Is the glue in eyelash extension harmful to my eyes?
Spidergirl I'm getting mine done sometime this weekend! How did they look and how do they start coming off? Would you recommand it?

I never used it but if you wear contacts it may be. When I wear eye shadow it screws up my eyes so I can see how the glue would affect yours
I think you may have sensitive eyes, just be careful and as long as you know it's safe, don't worry.

    Info about Eyelash extensions??

My eyelashes aren't that short but the problem is they are not at all curled up and every time i use the eyelash curler they fall back to their original place after just 20 mins! Because of this in all the pictures my eyes come out weird because it looks as if i had no eyelashes. I have been considering gettin eyelash extensions but i wanna know their pros and cons and all the info about them(price, how long they last, look natural, maintence, ect). I also want to be able to have them on everyday like for school and parties at night and stuff like that but i dont know if they look good.......anywho help please!?Info about Eyelash extensions??
Eyelash extensions can be a good solution for a lot of people who crave longer lashes. The really only thing health wise thing that could prevent you from having them is if you have a thyroid problem (and therefore have weak lashes that would be unable to support the extensions)

Here are some factual pros and cons.

    Cons:

-They can be expensive. ($200 - $400 depending on wear you go.)

-It takes about 2 hours, and you have to lie incredibly still with your eyes closed the entire time.

-You can't wear mascara or any other oily make-up during the duration for the extensions.

-No touching the eyelashes or swimming for 24 hours after they are put on.

    Pros:

-They look fabulous and natural (as long as you don't get extensions long enough to be shut in the car door)

    - They fall out naturally and gradually (so no one can tell they are fake)

-Each extension is bonded to each individual lash for a more natural look.

    - They can last up to 2-4 weeks (depending on wear you go)

Make sure wherever you go has clean facilities, and that they tape down your upper and bottom lashes to prevent them from getting glued together.

    Good Luck :)

    Info about Eyelash extensions??
eyelash extensions are really expensive! if i was you i would try false eyelashes first. they're quite cheap (between 拢5 and about 拢9) and you can get them in loads of shops, even in sainsbury's etc.

eyelash extensions cost a lot because each individual lash has to be added to your real lashes, and each lash is expensive and it takes a long time to attatch them all well and make them look natural.,

    hope that's been helpful!
dont bother. just use a fiber based mascara because it extends and makes them fuller. I have no eyelashes and it really makes me look like I do. Avon has two really good inexpensive kinds that I like and they work

    Longest Lashes Ever

    Try these first.
if i were you i would just put mascara then curl them.

    Eyelash extensions anyone have them!?

    Eyelash extensions on yourself????

ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO DO IT?Eyelash extensions on yourself????
I think that when we females wear make-up and such it should look natural. Eyelash extensions are almost always noticeable, come one no one has eyelashes that long, therefore I wouldn't wear them if I were you.Eyelash extensions on yourself????
Actually, I don't recommend it! The glue can cause serious eye problems. More than 1/3 of the eye lash can not normally be seen. I suggest using a lash primer before applying mascara. Revlon has a wonderful combination of primer and mascara available in ONE double ended tube for about $7.
You have to watch how it's done first. My hairstylist gets hers done alot and now knows how to do it herself. It's time consuming to do it yourself though because you have to glue each lash in place.

    Help with eyelash extensions!!x?

about 3 hours ago i got eyelash extensions and i'm going out at seven so do you think it'll be okay if i have a shower about 4ish? (will they get damaged?) and what will happen if i use mascara on them?

    thank youu :)

    xxHelp with eyelash extensions!!x?
ok i got eyelash extensions its ok to have a shower just try not to wet them 2 much it doesnt really hurt if u do tho... and u cant put mascara on em from the root because when u do it with the mascara wand it actuallt pulls em off and turns em clumpy...u can only put a little bit on the ends very lightly though

Have you ever had eyelash extensions??

well i want to get them

about how much do the cost ?

    how long do the last?

    did u like them ?

do get them alot?Have you ever had eyelash extensions??
The price will vary. And let me tell you something. I know plenty of women who LOVE them because their eyelashes were a major concern before. But other women HATE them because they don't feel as natural, and they just don't want to go through the trouble. You can get them very cheaply and just buy them to be replaced about every week. Or you can get more expensive ones that will last longer and possibly feel more natural. It's pretty much up to you how much you spend and if you like them. =]

Some people just wait for special occasions to use them. It's really up to you. Good luck!

Ohh. And don't try one kind, decide you don't like them and give up. Like I said, there are many different kinds with different qualities.Have you ever had eyelash extensions??
all of that can be answered online go to a spa website where they do eyelash extensions i think they are a lotta money just glue ur eyelashes on lolz ohh they do last a long time like 6 weeks n they feel like real eyelashes eventually they fall out and then u go again for a touch up. lindsey lohan does them i read it in a magazine
In my opinion. Don't wear them unless you don't have more then 5 eyelashes on each eye. They look stupid and trampy.

  • About how cheap are eyelash extensions??

my eyelashes are very straight and i would KILL for more glam lashes. about how much does it run in a salon to get them done and about how long do they last?

ive tried the whole fake eyelash set from sally's and walmart and i look absolutely ridiculous so i figured it might be better to just get them professionally done. any other info would be great too!! thanksAbout how cheap are eyelash extensions??
Just check around, I know people that are putting them on in a salon for a whole lot less than what these people have quoted. Also, I know amateurs that are putting them on, and they look like a professional have done them.

So, check around first, and then also experiment with them. But also use the advice of one of the other people that answered, condition or use a primer on your eyelashes, if you put on fake ones, or if you don't.About how cheap are eyelash extensions??
VERY expensive. One eye comes to about $400 dollars.

    Instead, try this routine:

1.) Comb your lashes while they're still wet with an eyelash comb. They're inexpensive; I found mine at Traget for two dollars.

2.) Curl your lashes for about 5 minutes with an eyelash curler. These are also common and affordable, mine was 4 bucks.

3.) Apply a primer. These are a bit harder to find, and a tad more expensive. I use Clinique's because it has natural conditioners and healthy proteins that help build lashes. It also preps your lashes by separating them and enhancing your mascara.

4.) Apply one coat of a healthy mascara. I suggest Neutrogena Healthy Volume. It's about 8 dollars and you can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

    5.) Re-curl and re-apply if necessary.
fake eyelashes are great they really do work...unless you know how to put the eyelash glue on than get it done by a high end solon. If you go somewhere that's not high end the eyelashes won't last as long or look as pretty in the long run...be careful if you put them on yourself you can really hurt your eyelashes if your not careful. You could also permanently curl yuor eyelashes....have fun

    Madi
    As if they are $400??

Thats just silly, I work in a salon and we do it for $120

Thats what we quote everyone for :)
try the lash lengthener on this site- its fab my lashes are va-va- voom now

    Buying eyelash extensions?

Has anyone ever bought professional eyelash extension kits online? I'm going to buy one on ebay because I don't want to dish out 300 dollars for tiny little hairs LoL

    http://stores.ebay.com/Your-Beauty-Nails鈥?/a>

Does it work real well?Buying eyelash extensions?
Yes, you can do them yourself. I do mine all the time and they are HOT. All my friends want me to do theirs and I charge them. The take some practice and a steady hand. Go to a beauty supple store and buy these three things.

    1) Ardell lash adhesive

    2) tweezers

    3) Individuel lashes

Dip the lash in the glue using the tweezers apply the lash on the bottom of your eyelash closest to your lid. Start in the middle of your eye. Takes about an Hour for both eyes last 2-3 weeks and all materials coast about 8 dollars.Buying eyelash extensions?
honestly theres no way you can do them yourself, i get mine done profesionally they last for up to 2 weeks and seriously rather pay the profesional then waist however much you are prepared to spend on the kit. Inable to apply them your eyes have to be closed and you will need a few tools that arent included in the kit. The kits are a disaster. I havent tried them on my self but thats only cause you cant get the results with cheep products.
Theres no way you will be able to do them yourself; unless you get a friend or family member to do it for you, than you should really go to the salon
its cheaper to go to the salon and have them do your lashes for 200 dollars and it lasts longer about a month
you realyl should go to a salon and get them put in there.

    Eyelash extensions =) worth getting???

im only 14 but i want them real bad =P

anyone who has them ? how good are they ? lol

thankss =)Eyelash extensions =) worth getting???
yessssssssssssss! i got mine done a few months back and they look HOT AS! its well worth it, as long as you do some research at where your getting them done, especially with them being so close to something as important to your eyes. i just had mine done at Katrinas it cost about $100, but i have to go back every few weeks for touch-ups.Eyelash extensions =) worth getting???
i would get ur eyelashes tinted be4 u go get extensions. u can get your eyelashes tinted for about $10 then if u like them tinted and just want them longer then get them extended.

i have my eyelashes extended it takes a lot of care..

my friend got them at the same time but she ended up having an eye infection for 6 months after she got them done because of the glue. As long as u care for them and are willing to spend the money then go right ahead!

    hope that helps u decide.
    In my opinion, no.

The plasticy ones look cheap, getting them done is expensive and you can risk infection and getting glue in your eyes.

Some are when they have actual HAIR glued on to your eyelids. It needs TRIMMING. Do you want little scissors that close to your eyes??

Use fakes if you have to, getting a pack of those is cheaper and less risky.

Or wear more mascara, even better!
It can be pricey, and you have to replace them every 4-6 months. I got mine done for about 150 dollars, so make sure you or your parent has the money to buy it.

On the other hand, it really opened up my eyes and I love them!
in your age probably start with fake removable ones then get permanent one later yeah they are hot i wear em, its worth it..
    do some eyelashrobics
we do them at my spas and the look beautifully if you can afford them and the maintenance... yes...
    yup
    Not worth it
you mean fake eyelashes. i use them, they're good. depending which ones you get. i wear Mac

Does Ulta do eyelash extensions? if so, how much?

I suggest you call them to find out.

    How much are eyelash extensions?

depends where you go. the place i went it cost 160 but i got to go back for 8 times for touch ups. it's currently 38 dollars per session right now. again, it really depends on where you go.

    Eyelash extensions in Tampa?

Where can I find a place that does eyelash extensions for a reasonable price in TampaEyelash extensions in Tampa?
They do a pretty good job at the Citrus Park Mall Day Spa. But if you get them done enough your real eyelashes fall out. Just go to MAC and have them put on some falsies. It is hard to wash your face and take a shower with the extensions. I had them for a little more than 6 months then had to get Revitalash to make my natural lashes grow back again.

    My eyelash extensions?

I hurts when i sweep my hand across my face.

and cotton wool sticks onto it when i use makeup removerMy eyelash extensions?
I found that used to happen to me (eyelashes hurting) for a few days the first time I ever got eyelash extensions. Your lashes will soften soon, if not, maybe you should switch salons and get someone else to do your extensions or someone who uses a different brand of extensions. Just keep your hands away from your face in the meantime, it's probably for the best anyway, since you shouldn't really touch your face with your hands too much, it's bad for your skin, i,e. more liable to get pimples. And I find it's good because it keeps me from rubbing my eyes and damaging the delicate skin under the eyes!

Use a tissue instead of cotton wool to remove your eye make up and don't rub the make up off, wet the tissue in the remover, then press it gentle against your eyelids, letting the remover absorb the make-up, then gently pat or wipe away the rest of the make up. You shouldn't need to use mascara with extensions.

It does get annoying when a teeny bit of cotton or fabric or something gets stuck on your extensions and won't come off - it's happened to me once or twice but there's not much you can do but wait for it to fall off by itself. My eyelash extensions?
    not a question...
    next time dont do them

    If I get eyelash extensions/tinted eyelashes... ?

Will I look hotter? Do they look nice, in your opinion? If I get eyelash extensions/tinted eyelashes... ?
    Just wear mascara...

Edit: And to look special on events, wear fake eyelashes. If I get eyelash extensions/tinted eyelashes... ?
Eyelash extension or eyelash graphing. They apply lashes onto your own lashes strand by strand. Looking natural and beautiful at the same time. It takes about 1 hr - 1 1/2 hr, with your eyes closed. If you need more volume let them know. Go for short or medium. Short if you have decent length eyelashes and medium if you have very short eyelashes. Any longer will look obvious and fake. They usually last up to 2 weeks. If continiuous wear will ruin your eyelashes and fall off.

If you have light colored eyelashes its good to tint them if its brown or black, it won't make a difference.
I have had eyelash extensions before. I loved how they looked but they were kind of irritating, especially at night. I would try some fake eyelashes first and see how you like the look, then decide.
just make sure it looks natural.

Eyelash extensions? im still undecided .. 10 points for help !

im only 14 but i really want eyelash extensions !! (:

the cost and maintnence doesnt worry me, but im just wondering about when u have to get them re-done and can you get them taken off if you want?

anyone who has them ? are they worth getting?

and anything gone wrong? =P thankkss!!Eyelash extensions? im still undecided .. 10 points for help !
Dont get them. They are not worth it. I got mine done about a year ago, and the lashes would always fall out. I dont know what they did but they looked completely fake. You can only get them taken out by a professional. If you are going to do it, make sure you get all the information first. I would just use fake lashes, they are more durable and you can get different pairs. I like the ones with little rhinestones on them, they look cute for parties.Eyelash extensions? im still undecided .. 10 points for help !
i got lash extensions. i dont really like them... they look kinda fake... theyre just TOO long!! and mine, you cant really take them off whenever... you have to get them taken off by a professional. like some hair extensions. i dont really reccomend it... im 16 right now, and im asian and my lashes were pretty short... but now it looks bad.
I wouldnt get them if i were you. I heard that they take hair from the nape of your neck and attach it to your eyelashes and you have to keep trimming them.

But anyhoo, i think you should just get false eyelashes

    they are so much easier.
I know that if you get them, it will be a real pain putting on other eyemakeup and washing your face. I've heard they fall off pretty easy if you do that, and who doesn't wash their face xD?
if i were you i would wait a lil longer cause i herad they hurt....just for now i would wait and try to find a really good masscra!!!
You can always buy fake eye lashes that are attachable and detachable!!

it takes years and years to make ur eyelashes to grow less then 1cm !

    Go Figuree ~ :]

Yes they are worth getting and you can get them off if you don't like them.. But i love mine you will too they look so cute
they are soo worth it i think you should go for it but ask a responsible adult good luck!!!!!!

Eyelash extensions? ill give you points!!!!!?

1)can you swim while having them?

    2)are the comfortable ?

    3)are they expensive?

4)do they fall of if you like rub your eye or something?

    5) how long do they last?Eyelash extensions? ill give you points!!!!!?
I worked for one of the largest eye lash extension mnfg, If you get a quality product put on by a trained professional then you can not even tell they are there. So here are your answers straight from the horses mouth!!

    1) You can, but not in the first 24 hrs and not for an extensive amount of time. If you do then you may cause the lashes to shed quicker than normal.

    2) Like I said you can not even tell you are wearing them, you can feel a little tickle when you are getting ready for a natural lash to shed that has an attachment on it.

    3) If you get a quality product applied by a certified professional it will normally cost you about 150.00 - 200.00 for your initial application and about 30-50.00 for refills. If someone offers them for under 50.00 for you initial application then run in the other direction. More than likely the product that they use is going to burn your eyes not only while they are applying them but also every time you get them wet.

    4) If you have a tendency to rub your eyes, use eye drops or have allergies then the lashes may shed prematurely.

    5) your initial application will more than likely need to be touched up every 2-3 weeks and after a few months you may need to get them reapplied all the way so they are not all uneven.

Try searching for a professional on www.xtremelashes.com you can also look at some other companies, I just no for a fact that Xtreme requires all the people listed to be a certified professional. Hope I helped and enjoy your lashes you will love them!Eyelash extensions? ill give you points!!!!!?
This all depends on what kind of eyelash extensions you get. If you get them professionally done then they cost about 300 dollars and you get them done every three weeks about. They are the most comfortable and they grow out. Humans usually shed their layer of eyelashes by about 3 weeks. Eyelash extensions are connected and woven into your real lashes and when you see that they are getting thin again thats when you get a touch up. I know something that is way better though and a lot cheaper! There is something called eyelash fiber and its about 25 dollars a bottle. Its a bottle of little fibers that you apply to your eyelashes after you have mascera on... the fibers attach themselves to your eyelashes and you continue to do this over and over until they are the length you want. Or you can buy little extensions with glue and put them in yourself... these will fall out in a couple of days if you are lucky and you cant swim unless you have goggles. And the glue that you use makes these very uncomfortable.. good luck!
    1) Yes, you can shower with them as well. However, you will have to be careful with them the first 24 or so hours.

    2) Yes.

    3) Yes, they can range from 200 and up.

    4) They advise you don't rub your eyes

    5) 2-3 weeks

    June
    1) yes (and shower, thank heavens!)

    2) Awkward to have them put on, feels weird for awhile but you adjust

    3) From $100-300

    4) You should avoid rubbing your eye, but a little itch won't hurt, the adhesive is pretty tough

    5) Up to two months or more
If you mean like actual eye extensions then check out this site:

    http://www.greathairextensions.com/xtrem鈥?/a>
1 yes if youre wearing goggles

    2 yes

3 depends on what kind they are, some can be $2, some $20+

    4 most likely

5 apply new ones every day or every other day
    1. They'll fall off. Wear goggles if you have to swim.

    2. They're comfortable if you put them on correctly and get used to them.

    3. Some are cheap ($2) and I've seen some that are $30.

    4. They'll obviously fall off if you rub hard enough. Otherwise, no. Not if you put it on correctly.

    5. One day, maybe two if you're lucky enough.

  • Where to get Eyelash Extensions? (South Yorkshire UK)?

    Hi,

I live in the UK (South Yorkshire - Sheffield) and want to get Eyelash extensions done. Does anyone know where these can be done locally? I'm not having much luck looking online, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Thanks! xWhere to get Eyelash Extensions? (South Yorkshire UK)?

    Question about eyelash extensions?

Where can I go to get some eyelash enhancement for cheap that lasts for more than a week??? I'm in Philadelphia...Question about eyelash extensions?
You could call a beauty school and see if the students do eyelash extensions. Some schools do teach it.Question about eyelash extensions?
you can get them at mac cosmetics
Ulta or Sephora. They'll last for a while, but you have to take them off at night.

    What are eyelash extensions like?

i think it sounds like such a cool idea, but they don't look too obviously fake do they?

    cost?

how long to they last and what lengths can they come?

thankyou! =)What are eyelash extensions like?
they're awesome! try them at least, then you know

the best brand I have come across is Xtreme Lashes.

they take up to 2 hours to apply a full set, they last up to 2 months but you will lose the extensions as your natural lash sheds, lashes have a 4 to 6 week growth cycle. They start at about 6mm all the way to like 17 mm, they come in thin, thick and super thick. You also have different curves: J ( natural), C (dramatic) and a few other new ones.

If applied by a professional with adequate training, they look natural, they are weightless, they don't look like spider tentacles or clumps of mascara! What are eyelash extensions like?

I need advice on Prima Diva professional eyelash extensions!?

I had eyelash extensions put on at a spa. The girl was trained about 6 mos. ago and does many sets a day. They were only $175.! I couldn't resist. I know you shouldn't go for CHEAP when getting extensions, but had they not been so cheap, they wouldn't even be an option for me. I have to have them filled every 2 weeks. The worst thing is they're so messy! They're not pretty and straight like in pictures. She said the reason for that is because natural lashes aren't straight, they go in different directions and so will your extension. They're nice for a few days, but then they go this way and that, some curl to the side, the end ones actually curl downward! The brand is Prima Diva. Her glue isn't old, she says she uses up a bottle in 2 weeks. I just can't afford to go to a more expensive, experienced place! I want to keep doing them, but they look horrible after a few days. She puts primer on after. I have some too, but it doesn't straighten or turn them. Is she doing something wrong?!!I need advice on Prima Diva professional eyelash extensions!?
Prima Diva are the best eyelash extensions I've ever used. And the adhesive is really good, too. Wonder if your girl is using the right length for your eyes. I know Prima Diva has several different sizes so maybe trying a different one may work for you. The company was very helpful when I had a question once. The website is lebelleonline.com. Maybe something there will help or maybe you can speak with someone who can tell you what's going on with your lashes. Good luck!I need advice on Prima Diva professional eyelash extensions!?
I've done it at the most prestigious salon in LA and I feel very sorry for a single penny I spent there. It's horrible and if you ever try to take it off you will end up with no lashes. I would never recommend anyone this product. It doesn't look nice, the material %26amp; glue are too rough for an eye.

    Are eyelash extensions painful??

I want to know if I should get them or not!!!!!Are eyelash extensions painful??
Not at all! And they are worth every penny! If you've never had them, you don't realize how fabulous they are. They look great and you don't have to worry about mascara. You look ';done'; without any other eye makeup. Great for the honeymoon afterwards, and no runny mascara. They last about 3 to 4 weeks if you take care of them.

Make sure you go with a good brand and a technician that is familiar with how to apply them.

I used Nova Lash, about $159 Canadian. The looked very natural, lasted a long time, and you can get them wet. Worth every penny.

First the technician will place sticky foam around your eyes to keep lashes apart. Then they will dye your eyelashes to darken them. Then they apply each lash extension individually. It takes about 1.5- 2 hours on average.

If you want to get them, I say get them. It's the perfect excuse to do so, and more and more brides are. Some people think it is a waste of money, but that does not mean it is for YOU. If you want them, you will be happy with the outcome. They look great and it's nice to wake up looking ';polished'; without any extra eye makeup.

They do feel a little odd at first, but you get used to them, just like you would glasses or braces. I agree with the above poster, you will need to have them taken off professionally or let them fall out with your natural lashes. I just let mine fall out.Are eyelash extensions painful??
black mascera can make them look longer while brown makes them look fuller
Use one of those mascaras that are supposed to make your lashes look longer.
    srry, idk
I wouldn't bother. There are so many products out there, try some of them first before you make the call.
They are not painful... just annoying. Also, you will rip off your own eyelashes trying to remove them on your own. They need to be taken off professionally or you need to let them fall off on their own. I just want to give you a heads up in case you are going on a honeymoon after and aren't going to be near a salon.
Eyelash extensions should not be painful. Make sure you go to a place where they actually apply them properly and you shouldn't have a problem.

They just make your eyelids feel weird (foreign objects near your eyes). Looks like you have baseball caps on each of your eyes.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

when professionally doneHow long do eyelash extensions last?
Well it all depends on what skin type you are. If you have normal or sensitive skin they can last 2 weeks.(Also depending on quality of the lashes, and if they are applied right.) Oily skin they last no more than a week. How long do eyelash extensions last?

dont do it- youll just end up messing up your eyelashes. try a better mascara
my eyelashes are perfect. yours most likely are too. dont do it.

Opinions on Eyelash Extensions? Are they worth it?

Yes they are if you dont have any lashes or want to try something new ,get a good quality brand.Opinions on Eyelash Extensions? Are they worth it?
Don't do lash extensions. It's not permanent. It only lasts maybe a couple weeks IF that, and you cannot wear mascara (or anything oil based) on your eyes if you get them. I suggest this product. It's called Jan Marini Age Intervension Eyelash Conditioner. This stuff WORKS. I work in a spa and we sell this product. It's so hard to get and its crazy expensive but its awesome. you can also use it on your eyebrows. after a couple WEEKS you'll see darker, longer lashes. but you will have to stop using it after a while because your lashes will grow so long that they'll touch the arch of your eyebrows! here it is:

    http://www.skinstore.com/store/product.a鈥?/a>

you can shop around and see where you can get it cheaper :)Opinions on Eyelash Extensions? Are they worth it?
no not usually, just put mascara on if u want longer eyelashes. sumtimes if u aint careful wit the extensions u cud pull out all ur real eyelashes 2.
I never had them but I heard they don't last but a couple weeks at the most. Why not just use a curler or fakes? It's so much easier and cheaper.

    Eyelash extensions ...wondering if?

I'm getting eyelash extensions and I would like to know how long it takes and does it hurt?? How bout end results, are they usually good?Eyelash extensions ...wondering if?
No, It shouldnt hurt at all. It should be just like getting hair extensions.

I have never heard of this before. It sounds something really awesome to get done.

They look hot if they are done right but the total downer about them is that they rip your real ones out thats happened 2 me i was pissed i didnt lose all of my eyelashes but the glue rip some out and it hurts like hell :( so if you get them i would only do it once in awhile i wont touch them

Hope i helped at least a little bit :}Eyelash extensions? tell me more!?
You mean the kind you put on yourself?

you can get them at the drugstore. They're pretty cheap, if you don't get the expensive ones.

You just glue them to above your eyelashes, with this special glue.

They're a little tricky to get into place sometimes, but they look good if you do them right.

EDIT: Oh. I have never heard of permanent extensions. haha.

That sounds kind of gross.... seriously. Do you really want to do that? They'll probably get all folded up, messed up, droopy, etc.

I wouldn't do that if I were you.

they are hard to put on and the glue can damage your eye if done incorrectly. i don't suggest it.D.i.y eyelash extensions?
This is one of the biggest beauty secrets of the century! Forget about eyelash extensions, they will permanently damage your natural lashes. Try Jan Marini Eye Intervention-it's miraculous! You apply it like eyeliner on the top of your lashes before bed. In a couple of months, your natural lashes will look like falsies. I've been using it for a month and my lashes hit my brows! It's expensive ($150 a tube) but the product lasts for 6 months! Please make the investment, you'll thank yourself for it. Through Google.com-type in The B Spot in Chicago. It's a high end eyebrow salon.

Are eyelash extensions bad ? do they damage your real eyelashes?

i kinda want them too (: and i've done a lot of research on them.

from what i've read, if you look after them they will be fine =) and they would change your look so much. Its true that you cant wear some kinds of mascara because of the chemicals in them but they will show you the kinds you can wear, plus you'll have real long nice eyelashes after it so you wont need to wear really good lengthening mascaras (:

i say if you have the money for it and getting them re-done all the time, go for it :) let me know how they turn out,Are eyelash extensions bad ? do they damage your real eyelashes?
yeah, plus you cant wear regular mascara or even eye makeup since the makeup remover will make them fall outAre eyelash extensions bad ? do they damage your real eyelashes?

    Eyelash extensions, anyone had them?

Hey, ive got really long curly lashes normally, but ive got into a habit of picking off my mascara, and lashes with it. Obviously i know that i'll need them to thicken up before i can have the extensions, has anyone here had them, and are they worth it?Eyelash extensions, anyone had them?
    Hello!

I have had eyelash extensions and I love them! I think they are definitely worth it but only under two conditions. 1) You will take care of them and 2) you will have the service done by someone who is a professional.

By taking care of them I mean no picking or rubbing your eyelashes, no direct exposure to steam and no mascara use (you won't need it anyways). If you leave them alone, and cleanse them only with a oil free makeup remover, the extensions can last up to a month - so worth it! But if you are careless, a week is all you can expect.

Just as care, I think going to a tech who has experience is important. You may want to look at an online portfolio or question your techs training. Sometimes, you will find that a full set of lashes can start at $200 while others are only $35. With lashes, you usually get what you pay for! I would check out LashOutPro.com for an example of what a really good set of extensions looks like.

Good luck! I love them and will keep getting fills for a long time! :o)Eyelash extensions, anyone had them?
i usually wear them when i go out and i think they make ur eyes look amazing especialy if you put some mascara on them aswell. good luck x

eyelash extensions are really pretty, looks natural and u dont have to waste time on mascara. downside is, they fall off quickly if u use eye makeup remover and everytime u wash yur face. it can last for months if u r very careful, but no one can be that careful anyway. i use to get them but stopped coz it takes a lot of maintenance.I want to get some eyelash extensions.. has anyone done this and what are the disadvantages?

I've had false eyelashes, the disadvantages they do not last long. Also, when they were applied I was worry about the eyelash glue getting into my eyes. And they did not feel natural, I was always aware I had on false eyelashes.

And whenever you come to reapply them, they only charge an extra $20 for being a member. I need some deals like that. Thanks so much in advance..Eyelash Extensions in Los Angeles? ?
I did them for nearly a year, because I have extremely short lashes.

I don't recommend this, only do it once in a while for special occasion.

    It causes eyelash loss.

The result is very natural and beautiful. To look natural. Use short length on medium eyelashes or medium length on short lashes. If you want something long and outrageous then go for the longer length. They last for upto 4 weeks, but then you have to maintain alot and its very annoying.

Im not sure how much in LA, but I know there are some places that will charge cheaper then that. Also pay a small fee for refill if neeeded.

You can try calling up salon and some nail store do it too.

Also if you want more lashes or volume, let them know, they shouldn't charge you more.

Try Ready to Wear Lash Extension. You put on a coat of mascara and while it's still wet, put on the lash extension, then another coat of mascara.

The lash extension is in a tube like mascara but it's full of little dry fibers that cling to the mascara. It's a dramatic look, for sure.

The only place I know you can get Ready to Wear lash extension is online. HSN has it.
    walmart
    Wal-Mart:)
any drug store should have them
    comic book stores.
for long lasting eyelash extentions I have mine done in a salon h

there around about 拢30 for mine but its worth it they last about 3 months
    WAL-MART

or you do a nail salon or hair dresser and they can do them there:)
at some hair salons they will add extensions one by one professionally for only like 20 dollars.
wal-mart, target, drug stores, pretty much anywhere
    Where ever make-up is sold...

I've seen them in places like Wal-Mart, for example.

EDIT: Dang, look at all this free Wal-Mart advertising.

I want to get eyelash extensions?

i am a guy but i want eyelash extensions because i dont have long lashes like my cousins do... it looks cool on them, but i dont know if i should get itI want to get eyelash extensions?
just buy any type of lashes and then cut them to fit your lashes from the side well if you need to then you should get somet tweeser toput them on and before you put your lashes on make sure to put mascara and curl then so they won't show to muchI want to get eyelash extensions?
    you mean like fake eyelashes?

    haha

Anyone use those Fake Eyelash extensions??

I have medium lengh eyelashes but they are very very straight. I can never get them to curl and when i do they are back to straight before i leave the bathroom.

I have used all kinds of expensive mascara but still nothing,

Can those fake eyelash extentions you can get at Wal-mart etc.... work??

how long do they last on you? Do you have to take them off before bed?

I dont want to pay 200 bucks for a salon to do it if the fake ones work....

thanksAnyone use those Fake Eyelash extensions??
Hi, eyelash extensions and false eyelashes[walmart] are totally different.

The extensions are like hair extensions, you get each lash individually glued in at a

salon or a place that does it, and false lashes you simply glue them on.

They last if you take care of them, but they have to be put on daily.

The extensions are about 100.00, my mother gets them done every month.

They last too, they;re totally worth it!

I personally like lashes are that are extremely thick and black, so I have to buy fake ones, but they last because I take care of them. And yes, you have to reapply them just like makeup.Anyone use those Fake Eyelash extensions??
    Only on date nights.
Eyelash extensions are way different from the ones from walmart. The ones from walmart are like 5 bucks, and you get what you pay for. Eyelash extensions last a month, and you don't take them off, as the fake ones from walmart come off whether or not you want them to lol.

After my extensions fell off, I realized how puny my real lashes are :( Of course one chunk of my real lashes fell off with a fake part. Don't use mascara or any oily face products with the real ones.
  • lip plumper
  • Are eyelash extensions good?

Whenever i attempt to stick on fake eyelashes they don't really work and they look a bit fake

I was wondering if eyelash extensions are any good? They are a bit expensive so I was wondering if anyone has had them and if they are any good!?Are eyelash extensions good?
    Exstensions are pricey....

    but...

    TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

They make your eyes look so much bigger and you dont even have to bother with mascara !! Around $120 :D

I have them and i absoulutely love them !!

you should go for it !!

ps. I love the look of fake eyelashes too, that ';Fake'; look is nice in my opinion. Are eyelash extensions good?
    In my opinion,

I don't like them, partly because I am for the ';all natural'; look.

I've never worn them, but I have seen people that do.

On the first season of I Love New York, or Flavor Of Love, [sorry i can't remember]

she was riding in a speed boat with a guy, and her eyelashes were flopping around everywhere, and coming off....it was freaking funny!
I've used to temporary lashes that last for a few days and I liked it. I've known girls who went to my makeup academy that had eyelash extensions. When they got the extensions removed, most of their lashes came of with the false ones so they ended up having to pay for them again.
yea there pricey but its worth it. they look totally natural
